Boko Haram: The Link with Oduduwa Apartheid

BOKO HARAM came to prominence during Obasanjo’s tyranny. As some voices from the country especially in the North argued against OBJ dictatorship, terrorists were unleashed on the streets of Nigeria under the policy of “do or die”. Meanwhile, the Oni of Ife has a plan to turn his subject, OBJ, into a life president; the Nigerian Media dominated by the Yorubas coined the word BOKO HARAM, meaning Western Education is forbidden. The antithesis of BOKO HARAM grid is criminally embedded, knowing full well that terrorism could resonate strong feelings in the Western. Since terrorism is a modern political warfare it could force America and Britain to arm Nigerian army, of which 80 per cent of the officers are Yorubas. The strategy was to use the training and weapon received from these countries for further repression of anybody who steps out of line as means of social control. These crises engulfing our nation started in 2006 when OBJ spent $5billion dollars buying political opponents especially in the north because of his naked ambition to become a life president. When Nigerians saw that OOni of Ife had a strategy of building a nation within a nation; they came together to reject it. Because the idea of having OBJ in power longer than 8 years is politically dangerous and economically suicide for the country; after spending 83trillion dollars in 8years in power sector alone, the nation is still in total darkness. The people saw it as a risk too much to take and with the international pressure, the Yorubas caved in because they cannot afford to have their looted wealth ceased abroad. As OBJ and OOni of Ife, were determined to get what they wanted; they resorted to Yoruba political ‘culture of violence’ that fuelled the army intervention in 1966: where cult and ritualism were at the epic of their agenda. Since most Northerners are Muslims it would be politically, plausible and strategically, convenient to brand them terrorists. This is to shift emphasis from kidnapping in the Eastern Nigeria and Oduduwa Apartheid going on in Nigeria. The reason to divert attention is due to the fact that the Western governments are beginning to pay attention to crude politics and high degree of violence the Yoruba politicians have adopted to put down opposition voices in the country. Mass culling and ethnic cleansing became part of the strategy to continue the embedment of criminality into Nigerian economic system. The sole purpose of this political strategy is to frighten the President to back off from reforming the oil industry which has been turned into a home for the criminals. Since the government has come up with the idea of reform to the industry – by establishing refineries in Nigeria- those who sale our oil and distribute the income among their tribes men saw the reform as something against their tribal interest that must be resisted at all cost. Wole Soyinka and the media dominated by the Yoruba’s immediately organised what was called ‘Occupy Nigeria’. As thousands of Igbos were dying in the hands of OBJ Terrorists (Boko Haram) Wole Soyinka and his media empire were busy campaigning for the assassination of the president and his family when he stops the importation of fuel into the country; a market that is predominantly Yorubas. Their tactic was, if they started killing the Igbos, the president would be frightened and resigned from office to avoid repeat of 1966. Since they discovered that the approach had failed, Wole Soyinka whom many believe is currently, suffering from mental illness took to the road of political agitation against the President’s wife; from Punch to Guardian were flushed with insult and threat. To send out a warning to the President, not to mess with the Yorubas. Two weeks ago Wole Soyinka and Fashola sent “Shogogogo”, a man of underworld, to assassinate the president’s mother in law. Since the president is now acting like Pharaoh and the assassination of his mother in law has not persuaded him out of office; they decided to choose the soft target, Igbos petty traders - many of which have lost their livelihood due to the Oduduwa Apartheid regime in Lagos that has taken away their shops and re-allocated them to Yorubas; while some have lost everything to the organised crime of Fashola state government. Every day their shops are under attack by Oduduwa army, in line with Awolowo policy of economic extermination enshrined in Nigeria constitution which forbids the Igbos from being directors in any government departments. The political ideology behind this Oduduwa Apartheid is to ensure Igbos die of malnutrition and hunger pain without them firing a shot. When Jonathan Goodluck came into power, he saw this policy as racist and discriminatory he decided to change it by appointing Chinyere Rose Uzoma the Director of Immigration and Ben Nnaji as a power minister. The Yorubas were against these appointments because they are positions reserved for the Yorubas only. They put pressure on the president to sack them which he did to satisfy OOni of Ife and his government. To heisting the exit of the president, Ooni of Ife instructed Fashola to forcefully remove the Igbos from Yorubaland which resulted in many of Igbo indigenes being killed by Oduduwa army and the weak and vulnerable, deported to Eastern Nigeria. According to Vanguard - On the 25th July 2013 - “NO fewer than 70 persons allegedly deported by the Lagos State government were sighted in the commercial city of Onitsha the following day, some non-Igbo speaking. According to the commentator, it was the second time such human cargo was dropped in the town this year. Vanguard argued that they were brought in a trailer and escorted by a police patrol van with heavily armed police men which, after discharging them at the popular Upper Iweka flyover at about 3.20am, made a U–turn and headed back to Lagos. Many of them showed signs of lunacy as they could not say their names and home towns, while a few others who could speak claimed that they were brought into the city by the Lagos State government. Some of them said they had been in detention for many years before they were finally released and put in a trailer and brought to Onitsha. An eyewitness said when he saw the trailer stop at night, he initially thought it was carrying contraband goods and perhaps wanted to beat the customs officials by using early morning to come into Onitsha, adding that he was shocked to see human beings were forced out of the lorry. The eyewitness, who simply gave his name as John, said: “I was woken up by the light from the police escort van when it reached the fly over. I noticed that a trailer was coming behind the police patrol van and suddenly the trailer stopped and they began to ask these people to come down. “It was then I noticed that there were some people who could not alight from the trailer on their own and the driver and some policemen helped them and brought them down. Immediately after dropping them, the lorry and the police van made a “U” turn and headed back to Head Bridge”. “When the day broke, I saw about 70 persons that looked malnourished, some of them were already insane.” According to him, some of the people who looked healthy started running into the commercial city after they were brought into the town, while the apparently insane ones stayed till the day break when residents of the city came to catch a glimpse of them and started buying food and other consumables for them. Some people at Upper Iweka said some of the people were not Igbos as they spoke Yoruba and Edo. At about 1 pm of the following day, few of the deportees were still hanging around the area. One of them who gave her name as Chima said she hails from Abia State, adding that she was arrested some time in May last year by a group of people in uniform on her way to Okokomaiko in Lagos where she lived. She said that she was kept in a dark room that looked like a warehouse for several days along with many other people, adding that up till the time she was brought into Onitsha, she never knew what she did that warranted her arrest. She also said that many of those arrested along with her died in detention The Area Commander of the police at Onitsha, Mr. Benjamin Woru said the police would investigate the incident and promised that the police would monitor the movement of the victims to ensure there would be no security breach in the commercial city of Onitsha and the state in general, especially with governorship and local government elections drawing near”. (Vincent Ujumadu http://www.vanguardngr.com/2013/07/70-persons-deported-to-onitsha-from-lagos/#sthash.d4b58q8S.dpuf) The govt of Oni of Ife and Fashola were prepared to ensure the problem remain un-noticed. The Iron curtain was drawn to stop the curious world seeing the Oduduwa Apartheid unleashed on innocent people. International writers and corrupt politicians were recruited by Fashola and billions of dollars paid out to suppress the truth on his crime against humanity and embezzlement of Lagos state allocations. Some of them have begun by denying that the civil war did not take place in Nigeria so as to hide war crime committed by Awolowo which was exposed by Achebe in his book There Was a Country shortly before he passed away. While Kofi Annan was recruited to bribe other UN officials to overlook OBJ’s human right record and gave him a seat in the assembly. After the assassination of his political opponents in the North, OBJ’s Army led by David Mark declared that BOKO HARAM was dead because they thought they have succeeded in removing the obstacle in keeping the presidency. The same Oduduwa political hegemony has trickily resonated the spirit of 1966, where the genocide against the Igbo precipitated the civil war; they have been going about killing the Igbos under the disguise of religious killings by blaming BOKO HARAM leader whom OBJ told the world had been killed. To refocus attention away from economic reform, they have brought in ethnic cleansing as a political tool to stop the president from reforming the economy or standing for 2015 election. They want the president to focus in dealing with the security issues confronting the nation with little or no time devoted to economic reform. The body count in 25th Dec. 2011 genocide showed that over 300 people were killed and all of them were Igbos. That raised the question why the Yorubas were not among the dead? Are Yorubas not Christians? The ground design of this Oduduwa Apartheid was to force the Igbos and the Hausas into another civil war. To insight hatred and provocation, OOni of Ife’s government changed her strategy by forcefully removing the Igbos from Yoruba land in form of ethnic cleansing; to provoke the Igbos, to carry arms. Last week OOni’s government ensure that the Yoruba tradition of human sacrifice is enshrined into Nigerian law, making it legal to use minors for rituals. David Mark and the Yoruba Senators voted to legitimise paedophilia in Nigeria; giving them license to marry children and use them for rituals. Igbo children are their target and no one can now challenge them because peadophila is no longer a crime under the law of Oduduwa. Judging from statistics, BH victims have been Igbos since Oduduwa Apartheid was set in motion. Take for example, on the 6th Jan. 2012, over 70 Igbos were killed by the Oduduwa army under the umbrella of BOKO HARAM not a single soul again was a Yoruba person. The latest twist in the saga of political destabilisation is the one million march against Oil subsidy removal; on Monday the 9th of January by Wole Soyinka who opposes any form of probe to the former dictator OBJ embezzlement and any court action against those involved in human right abuses in the country during OBJ’s reign of terror. It is really surprising that a man who claimed to be human right campaigner and the defender of the down trodden. Judging from the energy he invested in International campaigning against Abacha when the Yorubas wanted the baton of presidency; one would expect a man of his stature to join the demonstration against genocide emitted on a section of our community. Rather, he chose to stock the glee of lunacy and chose instead, to call for a national conference; at the same time, spearheading the rebellion against the state. The same tactic the Yorubas adopted in 1966 have resurfaced in the 21st century after they have looted the national treasury under OBJ they do not want any one calling for good governance if there is chaos and mayhem their stolen wealth would be protected. It would be appropriate and justice demands it that come 2015 the baton of Presidency should not remain in the hands of two tribes. This mass killing of the Igbos is politically calculated by OOni of Ife and his subjects to rob the Jonathan Goodluck any chance of re-election. Despite the fact that the oil that grease the wheel of our national prosperity comes from Igboland; the OOni of Ife and his government chose to place a blank ban on employment of these innocent people. The reason prominent Yorubas are not speaking out about the genocide and the expulsion of the Igbos is because their victims’ death are strategically important for their own economic domination. Woes betide you if you were Igbo and asked the question, ‘what do the Yorubas contribute to this Union called Nigeria?’ The moment you do, OPC (SSS) will be sent to bring your head on a platter because 80 per cent of the Nigerian oil wealth is owned by the Yorubas. They also own the only 3% FDI from Africa including Caribbean’s, in the developed world. In the last 5 year the Yorubas has defrauded Britain 3 billion pounds punitive attack on the British system. Despite their high level of crime, the British government has not sent them back to Nigeria. Since their campaign of terror against the Igbos has not given them the backing of the Western Countries - they decided to send their terror machine to the street of London to kill British soldiers as a means of forcing Britain to listen to their lies and criminalities against foreign and Nigerian interest. Typical example, was the killing of Drummer Rubee on the 25th May 2013 in Woolwich. This is how the British media put it: “The day it all happened, on a bright summer day, on a suburban high street in London: two young Yoruba boys hit the street of London in search of their victim. Menacing they look; raving and ranting in a cockney assent- promising to destroy the British nation state as they walk with swagger - with the notion they come from a tribe that arrogate to themselves – the smartest people on the planet. They entered their Vauxhall Tigra to lay in wait for their victim. As he came out from the barrack, wearing help the Heroes T-Shirt; the ritualists bounced on him, chopping him up like tomatoes. As the young soldier was dying in the road, the Jihadist shouted, “We swear by almighty Oduduwa!” “It is an eye to an eye and a tooth for a tooth”, “this is how your children, fathers and brothers would be killed if your government do not end their support to clueless Nigerian president Jonathan Goodluck”. He walked to the other side of the road and dragged a passer-by and said to him, “come with me and I will show you how Jews (Igbos) are killed in Nigeria, “this is how it is done - to insert fear into the Igbos”. He urged the passer-by to film him and as soon as the man turned on his camera, Michael Adebowale and Michael Adebolajo started ranting for the second time, wielding cleaver knife saying, “you and your kids are next”. One of the beasts shouted, “the only reason we have killed this man today is because Muslims are dying daily by British soldiers. “Remove your governments – they do not care about you. You think David Cameron is going to get caught in the street when we started busting our guns? You think politicians are going to die? No, it’s going to be the average guys, like you and your children. Tell them to bring our troops back so all live in peace”. Moment later- armed with weapon of mass destruction and AK47- they clambered from the wreck of their blue Vauxhall Tigra which has ploughed into a road sign. The beasts, who struck yards from a primary School then launched into a frenzy of bloodlust as the young soldier lay helpless- mercilessly stabbing and hacking at him. The young soldier’s head was decapitated and his limbs severed from his body, immediately these two Yoruba boys started saying “Oduduwa is great”. This is not the first time the Yoruba terrorists gangs have inserted fear on British communities. On the 25 March 2010; Sofyen Belamouadden, a 15 year - old Schoolboy, had two minutes to live. He was grabbed from behind, with a thud, he was rammed against the shutters of a café in Terminus Place, outside Stockwell Station, before slipping away and sprinting towards the top of the escalator that led into the ticket hall on his tail another CCTV camera picked them up as they bundled and pushed their victims down the steps until he landed on his back at the foot of the escalator where he was set upon by a group of beasts. Within 12 seconds, Sofyen was dead. The moment – played on CCTV footage to five juries in an open court- is a mass of arms and feet, body lunges and the menacing glimpse of weapons being thrust into his body. After the ferocious assault they gang finally left him alone to die a slow death; and another figure approaches down the escalator, marked out by a large picked bag swinging from her side, Victoria Osoteku- the only girl in the group – stops to land a final blow with her foot to the body of a dying Schoolboy that killed him before taking off after her friends. A post-mortem examination found 20 separate marks of injury on the body, including 11 incised or cutting wounds of which nine were individual stabs. One wound to Sofyen’s right shoulder was 12cm deep and had sliced into his right lung; another inflicted on the front of the chest had penetrated a rib, before wounding his heart and nicking one of his vertebrae. The killing of this Schoolboy was all arranged on the Social media by a pastor’s son called Femi Oderinwale, who repeatedly asked that evening on Facebook for “a flick up ting”. He asked Osoteku the oldest among the beasts that terrorise West London to “buy some nanks from Argos”, referring to a box set of kitchen knives. To cut the long story short, the court convicted these beasts to reclaim our streets from foreign criminals. Little did the criminal justice system know that we are not safe because people like Victoria Osoteku are breading terrorists like Michael Adebolajo on our streets?” Let us examine Michael Adebolajo’s ranting and governor Fasshola reason for his ethnic cleansing. Starting with Michael Adebolajo comment, “remove your governments, they do not care about you”. “Do you think David Cameron is going to get caught in the street when we started busting our guns? You think politicians are going to die? No it’s going to be the average guys, like you and your children”. Firstly, the phrase remove your government depict frustration with the British government for not listing to “Wole Soyinka” who is receiving treatment in a mental institution in Nigeria for hallucination and paranoia and the refusal of the British government to support the idea that the leadership of Nigeria should exclude other minorities and the Jews (Igbos) – leaving power, in the hands of the Yorubas and Hausa Fulani invaders who came to settle in Nigeria in 1804. The political theory behind this terrorism is to insert Machiavellian fear to the British people and forced the government to buckle. Since this government is not interested in supporting rogue president like Obasanjo whom OOni of Ife sorted American help to keep him in power for life. They started using intimidation and extreme violence to coarse the voters to vote for government that will support their cause like in 1966 when Harold Wilson with his communist ally supplied weapon of mass destruction to wipe out the Jews (Igbos). Michael Adebolajo action has nothing to do with Islam, but has everything to do with OOni of Ife’s politics of economic domination- a system that will enable the Yorubas to always determine who get what in Nigeria which has made 1: 5 of every Yoruba person a private jet owner while the rest of the country are living in less one dollar a day; slushing with such stolen revenue they are the only Africans among the richest in the entire planet. For example, Gatwick Airport was bought with such money by (Adabojo). This mind set was the philosophy behind the establishment of Boko Haram which is a mixture of Yorubas and Fulani invaders to overthrown President Jonathan’s government and install a criminal government that will legitimise terrorism and kidnapping and turn it into the national culture. Fashola in his defence to his ethnic cleansing, said that the Igbos deported to the East from Yorubaland are miscreants and nuisances and to attract foreign investors Igbos have to go. I agreed that majority of the Igbos have been turned into miscreants and nuisances in Nigeria through no fault of their own because their rights to life have been removed through economic enclosure and lack of jobs. 75 per cent of the oil blocks are in the hands of the Yorubas. Why can’t they see others as miscreants if they are controlling the national resources? Where is this oil coming from? It is coming from the land of those people, governor Fashola of Lagos state have branded Miscreants and nuisances (Igbos). The same policy of economic extermination of 1967 introduced by Awolowo - a political strategy of intimidation and repression - Fashola has now brought it back to life by forcefully remove Igbos to the East to die of starvation since there is no federal government investment in the East and the oil revenue that should have been used to create investment and jobs for Nigerians are handed back to the Yorubas to import the same oil that we produce into the country. Of course, if they people that own the oil have no access to jobs, it is obvious they would become miscreants and nuisances which serves as an evidence that economic reform is overdue to end this Oduduwa Apartheid. On the 1st April 2013 I confronted the Nigerian representatives in UK on the issue of constant killings of Igbos in Nigeria. On the 24 April I was invited to discuss the issue. Among the 16 top Nigerian officials present 10 were Yorubas 4 plus the High Commissioner himself came from the North and 1 person from Edo state. During that meeting I told them it was wrong for the media to ask Igbos to leave Northarn Nigeria because Nigeria is still a single entity and besides, there is no federal government investment in Eastern Nigeria that would create jobs for these people in the East. The High commissioner told me that in the last 43 years they have built federal Universities in Eastern Nigeria. I asked the panel what these people could do when they graduate from the Universities? The Deputy High Commissioner Oluwatoyin Kayode Lawal told me that Igbos should be grateful that they even got Federal Universities and insisted that Igbos must leave to the East. I then requested that they sent to the president my letter to grant Igbos a referendum since they are no longer wanted in Nigerians. Oluwatoyin Kayode Lawal told me that my request was too dangerous that such a letter should not be sent to president. I then realised that there are serious problems within our institutions that need to be resolved. This Oduduwa Apartheid is a political time bomb - the nation must come together to confront it - before it leads to Nigeria disintegration. By Cajetan Iwunze International Human Right Campaigner
